Chef Terrie treated both events equally as to importance. The food was excellent and the guests raved. What made the events so successful was the planning with Chef Terrie. She worked with me well in advance to help me figure out the best food to serve given the people attending and the space in my home. She thought of things I didn’t that helped the events go exceedingly well. As for Terrie herself, she is very professional and personable – given these were work functions her professionalism was of extreme importance to me. We really enjoyed participating in two dinners/cooking classes by Chef Terrie. The classes are designed for social interaction as well as to learn new cooking tips and recipes. The setting is very relaxing, and gives everyone the opportunity to mix and socialize. And the food is wonderful! We recently hosted a dinner with the help of Country Club Market for the executive team at Vermeer Manufacturing. The event was a success and we received very positive comments from everyone who attended. I am a raving fan of Chef Terrie & her cooking classes. They are fun, the food is amazing (better than most restaurants) & I have learned so much more about cooking than simply following the recipes. I get a kick out of replicating her dishes and impressing my friends (who are gourmet cooks) - they’ve even signed up to take her class. One evening Chef Terrie came to a friend’s home and prepared a meal for 5 couples – we even sort of assisted, when not consuming wine. We all had the BEST time and made a great memory. Chef Terrie, It has been such a pleasure knowing you and learning from you. Before I even met you, I felt your welcoming warmth. Several years ago, I emailed you about classes for my son, Tyler. You were so supportive of his interests in the culinary world. About to meet for the first time, we crept into your house, unsure of what we were getting into. And what did we find? We found you in your chef coat with a beautiful smile and arms outstretched for a great big hug. Your love for your passion is infectious. We cannot help but to love you and your art of cooking. Your hospitality is unmatched. At each class, you've presented the recipes in an easy to follow format. You've prepared the food with such detail and expertise, that it makes us confident that we can do the same. And I have prepared some of the recipes at home! I highly recommend everyone attend at least one of your classes! The relaxed atmosphere and personal attention is second to none. When my son and I think of you, we smile. Your classes are well worth the money and time, it is a treat to spend a night in your kitchen, eating the wonderful food you've prepared, and enjoying your company. You make the entire class about the food, not just the dish you are preparing, but about any food. No culinary question is off limits. (If it goes into the kitchen, I've found you're an expert on it!) Your talent and knowledge, your enthusiasm and generosity, your ability to hold everyone's attention is impressive. Being in your home for any amount of time is like being home for us. I cannot say it enough. We love you, Chef Terrie!!
