Chef Terrie possesses a zest for food and her preparations provide a reassuring basis for
each event. She has promptly responded to my requests on two occasions, both short notice,
and the menus were tasty, nutritious, and artfully arranged. In the midst of my mother's illness
and a family gathering on Christmas Day, she delivered a meal to the home, arranged
the buffet table in an inviting manner, and quietly left us to eat between hospital shifts. It warmed
our hearts to know that she had given us her holiday.

I work at a radio station here in Des Moines and hired Terrie of Country Club Market to cater a concert in April 2005.  As you can imagine, the artsits and crew for concert tours eat on the road almost daily and it gets old fast. However, I was confident that would not be the case with Terrie and I was right.  It was very important to me that the people we had to provide food for had a great meal that they could enjoy and would remember; that they could go back to Nashville and talk about how well they were treated in Des moines, IA.  Terrie prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for the concert tour's artists and crew and they LOVED her meals!  I was able to eat as well and it was fabulous!!  If you have an event and you don't want to worry about the quality of food then you should hire Country Club Market---she does such a great job.  I believe God wired Terrie to cook---it's evident in not only the quality of her food and the presentation of her food, but also in her passion for what she does.

Terrie catered an event for me when author and “star” Mark Bittner of “The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill” came to Iowa to speak and I hosted an author’s breakfast reception. We had the most delectable pastries, eggs (what were the eggs called?), juice and coffee with all the trimmings. Terrie made exactly the right amount and set this up and took it down in the middle of a busy movie theatre like a pro.  She helped me come up with a great menu when I had no clue where to begin. Now for the graduation party…

With my wife’s and my busy schedule, planning and preparing for a dinner party is short of a miracle! However, using Country Club Market and Chef Terrie Kohl we had not just one, but four dinner parties and they went off without a hitch! Terrie was great—she picked great tasting menu choices and made us feel relaxed about throwing a great dinner party. She didn’t stop at the food however; she helped us out with floral arrangements and even picking out dinner china. Our friends and clients were really impressed with the parties. I recommend Country Club Market to anyone who wants to impress their friends, families, or even clients!
